CRANK.
Why is it that every once in awhile the baby just has a meltdown for no reason and is just cranky ALL DAY? Today has been like that. He didn't want to be in his car seat. Then, he didn't want to get OUT of the car seat. He is tired, but gets mad when I try to put him to bed for a nap. Seriously cranky all day long! And we're talkin screaming at the top of his lungs with real tears welling up in his eyes. It breaks my heart! What do you mommies do on days like this?? I hate being frustrated with him and losing my patience when CLEARLY he's so unhappy. HOW DO I HANDLE THIS?

When Caroline is like that I say a prayer. Then I turn on some music and dance with her. That usually gets her to calm down. If that doesn't work I take her outside. She LOVES being outside and looking at the trees. Sometimes I even just put her in her crib until I calm down, then I go back in and get her. Yes he will probably cry, maybe even fall asleep.
